My first novels and where I got my start as a writer. From a blank word document at two in the morning, to a first draft, to a couple more and then a rewrite.
This is a cyberpunk story that follows a crew of mercenaries who find themselves swept into a plot that just might change the trajectory of the future.

The Statera Trilogy: Book 1
The Lion of Harmony
A hacker savant, too smart for his own good. A guilty assassin, looking for a purpose. An ex-paramedic, addicted to a high. A reckless bike racer, desperate for money.
These are the members of Dragon’s team, one of the best heist crews in North America.
Based in the city of Harmony, on the mighty Mississippi, they target corporations too big to notice them, or so they hope. With their skills and Dragon himself, they’ve successfully pulled off job after job, padding their pockets and creating a nice life for themselves in a world hell-bent on keeping people trapped in the status quo.
But when a job goes south, and the crew take their first serious casualty, they find themselves sucked into a web of secrets that none of them are prepared for. Scrambling for answers, each route they take seems to lead to a dead end, or hint at Dragon’s shrouded past. When an attack on his home life forces him to break his one rule, and reveal who he was to his crew, Dragon starts to realize that sometimes the only way to deal with your past, is to face it head on.
Because some things, you just can’t outrun.

An Adrenaline loving racer, reckless and hotheaded. Raptor is the heist crew’s driver, getting them to and from jobs with speed and style.

A hacker savant, largely considered too smart for his own good. Wolf is the crew’s electronic warfare expert and hacker. He takes care of the digital side of their jobs, for better or worse.

A medical professional who quit the industry, Urchin makes sure the crew stays solid mentally and physically. With a plethora of surgical cybernetics, she’s ready for anything that comes their way, or so she hopes.

Real Name: Leander Hamilton
A cyborg with a past he believes he outran, Dragon is the heist crew’s leader. His cold, detached personality has led his crew to question just how much of him is still human, but this has yet to hinder their effectiveness.
Time will tell if that is bound to change.
